I'm your
Captain, Bill Ruth. I've been fishing the waters of Lake Ontario for over 25
years and I hold a 25 ton USCG Master Captain's license. I specialize in
trolling for trophy-sized trout and salmon. We're always trying new things in
an effort to catch more fish; charter us for a fishing trip for a day or two and
you'll most likely see a lure or technique you've not seen before. We regularly
field test the very latest equipment and tackle for our sponsors and we're more
than willing to share the hot set-ups and lures with you.
For 2012 we will be charter fishing from Ithaca, NY on beautiful Cayuga Lake. Keep an eye out for us on the Lake Ontario tournament trail though!

Fishing isn't just something we do. It's who we are. We live for those moments that stick with you for a lifetime. No matter if it's your first-ever fish, or a new personal-best trophy you're after, we can take you there. Whether you're after the Atlantic of a lifetime or a whopper of a Brown, we have the knowledge, tackle, and experience to put you in position for that trophy.
We know that it's all about the fishing for you and we're committed to putting as many fish in the boat for you as we possibly can. We've been chasing trout and salmon all over Lake Ontario for the past 25 years or so but in 2012 we will be fishing beautiful Cayuga Lake for the great variety of trout and salmon it has to offer. Try something different this year - give the Finger Lakes a try !
Be sure to check out our latest promotional video. You want BIG fish?? We have 'em! Call today to book your 2012 charter and get in on the fun!

Our Billy V/Krenzer Marine tournament team boxed 12 fish on each day of the 2010 Wayne
County Pro-Am for a two day total score of 390.76 points - good enough
for second place and just 0.6 points behind the first place team. What a great weekend of fishing in Sodus Point!
Another successful Tournament weekend: We led the 2009 Wilson King of the Lake tournament after Day 1, and ended up placing 4th at the end of the weekend. We caught over 40 fish in two incredible days on Lake Ontario.
